Longman and Eagle: One of Logan Sqaure’s Best Restaurants

Longman and Eagle is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Everything they make is an explosion of unique flavors, and sitting on their patio in the summer is a vibe. Here’s a few dishes I’ve tried over the past years from their rotating menu:

Their potato gnocchi is the perfect autumn meal. This dish includes roasted pumpkin, brown sugar, amaretti cookie crumb, Umbrian truffle, parmigiano, balsamico, and sage. Truly so many delicious fall flavors for this enticing gnocchi.

Their garlic parmesan pretzel is small but packed with warmth and fluffiness. It’s accompanied with incredible smoked apple butter cheese sauce as well.

The vegan cashew “sour cream” and onion dip with house made potato chips is such a yummy appetizer. I wish I could eat this weekly as a snack.

The plant-based double smash burger is typically my go to for my entree when coming here. It’s always so filling and the fries are tasty too.

Their cauliflower gratin with four cheese sauce, roasted poblano, and dates is perfect for sharing with friends. It’s quite the delectable comfort dish.

They tend to have a different burrata dish on their menu, and one of my favorites is their berries and burrata. This sweet dish is delightful, and the bread it comes with is toasted to perfection.

The French fry ice cream with melted chocolate mousse and a magic shell is like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. The combination of the thin salty fries and the sweet ice cream and mousse is heavenly – especially on a warm summer night.

The peanut butter pie with seasonal jam and a pretzel crust tasted just like a fancy peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I always love ending my meal with this yummy piece of pie.

If you’re in Chicago make sure to add this amazing restaurant located in Logan Square to your list!
